THE VILLA SPINOSA'S VINEYARDS The Villa Spinosa winery owns 26 hectares of land in the Valpolicella Classica area of which 18 are planted with specialised vineyards. This land falls within the villages of Negrar in Valpolicella and Marano di Valpolicella on the hilly slopes in the shelter of the Masua hills between 220 and 305 metres above sea level. The vineyards are located in the hamlets of Jago (Negrar in Valpolicella) and Figari (Marano di Valpolicella), areas which are highly suited to grape growing and are considered as a prestigious cru of the Valpolicella Classica area.
Another part is located on the Masua hill which separates the valley of Marano di Valpolicella from that of Negrar in Valpolicella.
