THE VILLA SPINOSA VINEYARDS Villa Spinosa spreads over 45 hectares of land in heart of the Valpolicella Classica area, 18 of which are planted with specialised vineyards, near the villages of Negrar in Valpolicella and Marano di Valpolicella. The vineyards in the Negrar Commune are located in Jago and on Colle Masua, the hill that separates the valleys of Marano di Valpolicella and Negrar in Valpolicella. The vineyards in the Marano Commune are located at Figari. Jago, Masua and Figari are three hilly areas, between 220 and 305 metres above sea level, which are highly suited to grape growing and are seen as a prestigious cru of the Valpolicella Classica area.
Our winery has recently started to grow vines in a higher hilly area, in Montecchio di Negrar, at Costa del Buso, which is over 400 metres above sea level. .
