Villa Spinosa has always grown its vineyards on the both sides of Hill Masua : around Negrar village in Jago and around Marano village in Figari.
The name Jago, as a real and very well known and appreciated "cru" , has been employed from the very beginning of Villa Spinosa for Ripasso Valpolicella Classico Superiore. But demand for Valpolicella Classico Superiore not Ripasso has been growing so much during the last times (to be placed between the Classico and the Superiore Ripasso) that we've decided to add to our range a new wine: Valpolicella Classico Superiore "Figari". This wine has been processed with grapes coming from that area, mostly CorvinaVeronese and Corvinone, and its first vintage of production is 2006. Nothing left then except invite all of yours for tasting, along with Valpolicella Classico Superiore "Figari, all the Villa Spinosa wines range . see you soon!
