“Il Gambero rosso” magazine has assigned to Valpolicella for this year a particular award by electing Professor Roberto Ferrarini, that is proudly a Valpolicella’s son, Oenologist of the Year. This award is reason of great pleasure for me and for the people of Villa Spinosa. Roberto Ferrarini, apart from being our oenologist, is primarily the person that taught me and Villa Spinosa how to make wine, the person that for first talked, with passion, about the indissolubile bond between a land and its wines and that could explain wine as a cultural expression and messenger. But Roberto Ferrarini is for me a friend first of all, and in front of such a joy for the important success of a friend, one can only enjoy and exult.
