DANTE MEETS AMARONE

A group of Lombardian managers who met in Verona for a business convention last thursday, has visited Valpolicella classical country side and especially Villa Spinosa's company, vineyards and cellars to discover the grape growing and the wine processing methods.

They have also enjoyed a special wine tasting of Valpolicella, Ripasso,Amarone e Recioto all produced by Villa Spinosa's cellars in Jago, Negrar of Valpolicella.

During this visit something really special happened: these business men in fact arranged at the end of it a reading of Dante's "Canti" from the "Divina Commedia".

The rooms for the Amarone grapes dryng in Autumn, called "fruttai", have been converted then into special stages where the "Canti" have been readen as to let Dante and the Amarone live together for some time.
