VILLA SPINOSA AND SVINERIET:

WHEN GOOD FOOD WITH GOOD WINE WORKS BETTER!

At "Corte Spinosa", the agritourism of Villa Spinosa, in Jago of Negrar in the heart of Valpolicella country side, a team coming from "Svineriet", one of the best Danish restaurants in Aarhus (the second largest city of Denmark with around 25000 citizens), spent some days to visit Vinitaly and started to build up a food and wine project of tours for Danish tourists interested in Valpolicella, its wines, other important territories in Verona and their typical products.

This Danish group has recently introduced the headlines of this program with a meeting ended by a special dinner in the large dining and tasting room of Villa Spinosa. A dinner which aimed to match each course with one of the Villa Spinosa Valpolicella red wines by putting together a selection of the best local products with the talent of the danish chefs from Svineriet.

The project has been inspired from an increasing desire within Denmark of a new way of travelling. Tourists are asking to interact with the territory they're visiting and long to find new and deep relationships with it by getting in touch with its typical wine and food products.

Thanks to this new touristic project danish travellers can discover, along with Verona and its monuments, the main treasures of Valpolicella and other territories visiting farms and places where the most typical products (like rise, olive oil and cheese) are processed like once. They will also learn the whole process of Amarone, actually one of the most appreciated red wines in Denmark, visiting vineyards and cellars. 

Another important point of this program are the cooking classes where the travellers can put in practice what have learnt during the visits. In the evening they can finally enjoy their cooking new knowledges with a special dinner matched to the Valpolicella wines, within the unique atmosphere of Villa Spinosa Italian style garden.
