VILLA SPINOSA GETS HIGHER!

In these times some of the larger local wineries has purchased lands to start growing vineyards on the higher hills of Valpolicella Classica area (from 400 mt up above the sea level).

For a long time Villa Spinosa has owned a farm by Costa del Buso of Montecchio, nearby Negrar (between 396 mt and 436 mt a.s.l.). This place is characterized from an uncomparable sight on all the Valpolicella area and Lake Garda.

This summer we've started reforming the old vineyards and next year the new ones will be planted.

From 2008 and 2012 we're going to plant there 5 hectars of Villa Spinosa's vineyards, in add to the nowadays 18 hectars of Jago (Negrar) and Figari (Marano).

During the next years 2 hectars more will be reformed, so that Villa Spinosa can count on a total amount of 25 hectars of vineyards in Valpolicella Classica!
