Decanter

The May issue of the English wine monhtly Decanter includes an indepth report into the Valpolicella region. In the article written by Adam Lechmere, the land of the Amarone is also recognised for its other great wine, the Valpolicella Superiore. Many of the Valpolicella Superiore wines were collected, with 120 the being the final number tasted by the Decanter judges. The Valpolicella Classico Superiore Ripasso "Jago" 2001 was awarded 17,5 points and was granted 8th place out of the 120 tasted.
