The harvest 2009 is over: the quality of the picked grapes is good, we will then get good quality wine as well.

The Valpolicella Classico 2009 is a really interesting wine: floral, fruty, it is already particularly pleasant and, like the wines of the previous vintages, it is simple, traditional and easy to drink.

In the next days the fermentation of the grapes used to produce  Valpolicella Classico Superiore “Figari” e Valpolicella Classico Superiore Ripasso “Jago” will start: these grapes, infact, after the harvest period has been whitered for few weeks.

Also the grapes used for making Amarone and Recioto are whitering since September thanks to a mild season characterized by lots of low humidity days. These grapes are withering optimally and they will surely produce intereting products as well.
